Weight loss is easy when given the correct tools to succeed
I strive to educate my clients on all fitness related matters. My goal may seem self-defeating but I aim to train you not to need me. I aim to help you lead a healthier lifestyle through your time with me so that you can go on and maintain good habits for the rest of your life. My training ethos is that a good physical activity programme linked in with healthy nutritional habits is the key to weight loss and a healthy body. It may seem obvious, but in today’s society it is becoming harder and harder to stay fit. What I will do is provide you with the tools necessary for you to reach your weight loss goals.
Dieting is not the key
A vast number of people at one point or another have either flirted with the idea of dieting or have actually gone on a diet. Dieting does make you lose weight, but diets are usually only sustainable for a short period. Once the body reacts to the diet or once you have reached your target weight, the next step is normally to go back to how you were eating before. Now with a reduced metabolism and the body essentially being starved of nutrients all the weight that you lost returns and often you end up weighing more than you did before you even started the diet! My nutritional knowledge allows me to give you sound advice based around your weight loss goals so that you will never have to diet again and will maintain your weight once you reach your target.
Weight loss is not all about running
There are many preconceived ideas that to lose weight you have to run a lot, which I know for a fact deters many people from committing to a weight loss programme. You will have to undertake cardio workouts and exercise routines, but my approach to cardio workouts will make for fun and varied sessions so you never get bored. Although if you are a fan of running, then of course I can include that in our workouts too!
